In mid-summer 2007, the head of Tajikistan’s HIV/AIDS prevention center reported at least 6 persons, including 4 children, were accidentally infected with HIV in a hospital during end-2006. In 2013, a review of Tajikstan’s national AIDS program reported 334 children with HIV, of which 119 got if from their mothers.[see page 69 in reference 2] I have not been unable to find details of any investigations: How were these children found? What were their ages. What were the suspected or identified sources of their infections?
